St Pancras Station Marks 150-Year Anniversary with Champagne School

St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys, located within the ornate confines of the famous London railway station of the same name, has opened a lavish Champagne School as part of its 150th birthday celebrations.

Guests can book a champagne pairing dinner or a place in the newly launched champagne school, where they can take masterclasses to learn all about champagne and English sparkling wines.

Designed to be informative, inspiring and fun, the monthly Champagne School is intended to appeal to every type of wine lover – from absolute beginners to accomplished connoisseurs, introducing you to the origin and history of Champagne.

The school masterclasses take the form of either ticketed events, as part of a private party accompanied by a meal, or as a one-of-a-kind celebration at the new Tasting Room or Kitchen Bar.

St Pancras Brasserie is synonymous with fine champagne and is already home to the longest Champagne bar in Europe – with an extensive bottle selection, including a total of nine champagnes available by the glass.

With a décor that consists of old station clocks, private booths lit by vintage-inspired lighting, Herringbone oak floors and gold ceilings, the brasserie whisks guests back to the golden age of travel.
