Four Seasons Maldives Unveils New Overwater Suites

The Four Seasons Resort in the Maldives has opened its doors to three brand new sumptuous overwater suites.

Located on a private coral island called Kuda Huraa, the new suites comprise a three-bedroom water suite with a pool, a two-bedroom water suite with a pool and a family water villa with a pool, each offering direct access to the pristine waters surrounding the idyllic island.

Spanning 800 square metres, the three-bedroom suite is ideal for a small group and comes with an extra-long infinity pool parallel to the sea. The two-bedroom suite, meanwhile is billed as more suitable for couple and offers spacious s furnished with loungers, over-water nets plus huge open-plan living and dining areas inside and out.

However, the star attraction is undoubtedly the family villa that offers a harmonious balance of space and seclusion, with a large lounge deck, overwater nets, an L-shaped pool, and steps descending into the lagoon for snorkel adventures.

Randy Shimabuku, General Manager of the Four Seasons Resort, said: “Guests are really enjoying being in an open-plan space, as opposed to spread across multiple separate rooms, and the expansive outdoor poolside decks are proving really popular for intimate pre-wedding events and milestone celebrations.”

Four Seasons Hotels was founded by Canadian businessman Isadore Sharp in 1960.
