Latest Lifestyle News: A New Appointment Jets In
A new CEO can often be a result of tumultuous times in the world of business, but for NetJets the appointment of Mario Pacifico to lead the company’s European operations out of their London office can only be seen in a positive light.
One of the word’s leading players in the world of private aviation, NetJets have been on the up for several years now, with fights in Europe grew by 7.2% to a total of around 50,000 flights. The latest appointment is designed to build upon those strong figures – and given his experience, big things are expected.
You can read more about the appointment, as well as the launch of NetJets’ brand new Cessna Citation Latitude aircraft, as our lead story in today’s newsletter.
Elsewhere this week, we bring you an exclusive interview with one of London’s most creative minds in the field of furniture design, Grazyna Solland, CEO and Chief Designer of Sollands Bespoke Furniture. Her pieces are routinely compared with the kind of furniture you tend to see on yachts, so we were keen to find out whether this was by accident or – no pun intended – by design.
There are also reports on the recent sale of the world’s fifth largest ever diamond for $40 million, Philippe Starck’s design of a brand new Hilton hotel, and a new pair of augmented reality sunglasses by high-end audio makers Bose.
Finally, there’s news on the opening of a temporary underwater yoga studio in the Maldives, a new watch collection from Cartier, and the opening of a lavish new spa at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in London.
That’s all for now. Until next time, enjoy our newsletter and have a wonderful week.
