Latest Lifestyle News: Time to Look Back at SIHH

Widely considered one of the highlights of the luxury calendar, SIHH 2018 came to a close last month after a typically extravagant showcasing of the world’s most beautiful and technologically advanced timepieces.

Headlining this week’s newsletter, we’ve taken a look back at the Geneva event and picked out five of the watches that most caught the eye, whether it was for their design, mechanics, or sheer originality. You can read about – and see images of – all five watches in our lead story today.

Elsewhere this week, we report on another prestigious luxury fair – the Rétromobile Car Show in Paris, where two highly sought after Porsche and Bugatti models grabbed plenty of attention.

There’s also news on a stunning new luxury villa in Dubai that has hit the market for a cool $11 million, an upcoming auction of some of the most historic items housed in the iconic Ritz Paris hotel, and a lavish limited edition Ferrari F12 Berlinetta wrapped in a classic Louis Vuitton-style cover.

If that’s not enough, we also cover a beautiful new jewellery collection by Dior, Aston Martin’s new China dealership, and a Russian company that is set to offer intrepid thrill-seekers the chance to travel to space. The price for the proposed trip of a lifetime? $100 million.

That’s all for now. Until next time, enjoy our newsletter and have a wonderful week.
