Four Seasons Opens its first European Mountain Hotel

Renowned luxury hotel group Four Seasons has opened its first property in a European mountain ski resort, called Four Seasons Megève.

Nestled in Megèv, one of the most popular and luxurious resort towns in the Alps, the hotel opening is billed as offering a mix of luxury accommodation, elevated dining, an 18-hole golf course, and unparalleled intimacy.

Rich and authentic, the hotel’s décor perfectly blends modern elements with Art Deco features from the 1920s.

Other lavish amenities include a by-appointment wine cellar and private dinner venue featuring 14,000 prestigious bottles, and a ski room and shop selling stylish apparel and cutting edge ski equipment.

There are also two kids club where your little ones can enjoy interactive games, computers, and a screening room, while the adults enjoy some much deserved ‘me’ time.

Accommodation includes 39 rooms and 14 suites, with the stand-out offering the one-bedroom suite with large outdoor patio perfect for resting after a day of skiing or golfing, a cozy living area with a fireplace, and a spacious bathroom with heated floors, a deep-soaking tub and an extra-large shower complete with Bulgari amenities.

The Spa, meanwhile, features pure lines, white and shiny mosaics mimicking fresh sun-kissed snow, and ice sculpture-like light fixtures that create an elegant and peaceful ambience. The facility boasts 6 treatment cabins, a hairdresser, barber, gym, and an inviting indoor-outdoor swimming pool.

As for food and beverage options, Kaito restaurant is located within the main chalet and is accessible to outside guests via a separate lobby. The restaurant has a sushi bar and offers Japanese fusion dishes with Alpine accents.

Four Seasons Hotels was founded by Canadian businessman Isadore Sharp in 1960.
