The first interior renderings of the 63.8-metre VSY 64M have been released by Franck Darnet Design. The yacht, which sold last year, is in build at Viareggio SuperYachts, with the launch pegged for the end of next year. Franck Darnet Design created the interior for the owner’s previous yacht. Franck Darnet describes the interior as “warm and contemporary, elegant and timeless”.

The owner’s passion for diving and the marine environment is reflected in the interior, with deep-sea corals providing a key design theme. Light walnut and a variety of textured leather in warm and smooth tints has also been used. There is also a dive centre on board the yacht.

Inside the main salon, the centrepiece is a stunning chandelier over the formal dining area. The main salon furniture has been created with what Franck Darnet calls “refined lines and minimalist curves”. The outdoor spaces and the sundeck will be dedicated to well-being and relaxation, offering large comfortable spaces, with plenty of seating and a sunbathing area. The sunloungers convert to proper sofas. Particularly striking is the coral-orange tones of the swimming pool mosaic.

The Espen Øino-designed yacht sleeps 12 guests looked after by 16 crew. She has a top speed of 17 knots and a range at cruising speed of 5,200 nautical miles. Naval architecture is by Laurent Giles. The yacht will be classed to ABS and LY2.
