Second Amels 242 nears completion

Dutch shipyard Amels says construction is progressing perfectly to schedule for delivery before the summer season.

Dutch shipyard Amels has announced the launch of the second unit of its Amels 242. The 74m yacht made a splash on the water last week at the shipyard in Vlissingen.

The company announced the sale of the yacht just before the Monaco Yacht Show 2015, with Antoine Larricq of Fraser representing the owner.

The yacht is the second Amels 242 from the Limited Editions range with an exterior design by Tim Heywood and the owner’s choice of Winch Design for the custom interiors.

The first Amels 242, Plvs Vltra was delivered to her owner  last year.
