The two new composite Christensen yachts Chasseur and Silver Lining (shown above), which launched earlier this year, are set to be unveiled to the public at the Fort Lauderdale show, which runs from November 3-7.

The 50-metre Silver Lining features an interior by Kimberly Graham, in traditional high-gloss black walnut. The yacht has a main-deck master suite and five guest cabins on the lower deck (three doubles and two twins). There are some spacious outside deck spaces, with a hot-tub on the sundeck. “Silver Lining is a real symbol of the rebirth of the company and a testimonial to the extraordinary boatbuilding skills of an extremely talented and dedicated workforce,” said Christensen’s president Jim Gilbert at the launch in June.

Chasseur’s styling by Varo Interior Design, features a lighter, more contemporary décor of bleached sycamore with rich rosewood accents and semi-precious stonework. The 49-metre yacht, which is MCA classed, has a projected range of 4,000 miles at cruising speed from twin CAT 3512C engines.
